HALOTHERAPY HISTORY
Treatments began in Wieliczka salt mine caves, in southern Poland, when Dr Feliks Boczkowski, health of miners, wrote and confirmed the positive effects it had in the caves of salt, since the miners working in salt mines did not suffer lung, respiratory problems or tuberculosis as the rest of the population.
Kowski Bocz- concluded that the atmosphere they breathed impregnated with micro-particles of salt which was protected and managed to open the mine caves in 1836 where more than 30 pathologies were studied in individuals from the rest of the population, among which were asthma and exhaustion.
In the 80 developed in Russia is technology that leads to the third-generation halotherapy and allows a room with dry salt aerosol and benefit as if we were in the salt mines, so SALTERAPIA began to be used by Eastern Europe (Austria, Romania, Poland, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Russia), Germany, Italy, USA and Canada. Note that currently halotherapy is included in the health system of Russia as an official therapy is recognized as a clinical therapy in England and Italy is booming.
